A month is 500 mg of NMN a day for 30 days: a price yardstick, not a dose to take. We price 3 more capsules, at $1.17 to $1.67 per 500 mg. We could not confirm the NMN per serving for 5 more products, so we do not price them; 2 of those are on NSF/ANSI 173 (see the tested page).

Capsule or powder?

Powder costs the least: $0.27 per 500 mg, against $0.43 to $4.00 for capsules. You measure it with a scoop. The lowest-cost capsule is Neurogan Beta NMN 900 mg at $0.43. The one liposomal capsule we price, Codeage Liposomal NMN Platinum, costs $2.67. We found no human trial showing liposomal NMN is absorbed better.

What a testing list costs

The three NMN products we price on a public testing list cost $0.83 to $4.00 per 500 mg. The lowest-cost capsule, on no list, costs $0.43. Lists check different things: NSF/ANSI 173 checks that the contents match the label, NSF Certified for Sport adds banned-substance testing, and Informed Choice screens for banned substances only. That matters because a 2024 lab study found amounts from 28.6% above the label to 100% below it in NMN and urolithin A supplements (Sandalova 2024).

Why per 500 mg?

NMN per serving runs from 250 mg to 1,200 mg in the products we price, so the price of a bottle tells you little. The makers’ FDA filings name 600 mg a day for up to 60 days, or 300 mg a day for ongoing use, for adults. FDA said on September 29, 2025 that NMN is not excluded from the dietary supplement definition; makers still notify FDA, and acceptance of a notification is not a safety finding.
