Per 60 mg, or per capsule?
Per capsule is what you pay each day if you take one, as most labels say. Per 60 mg is fairer when strengths differ: an 18 mg capsule gives less iron than a 36 mg one. 60 mg is about the dose used to treat low iron, which takes two to four bisglycinate capsules.
Amazon sets its own prices. If its price is lower than the list price here, your cost is lower too.
Bisglycinate is the gentler form, not a stronger one. If a test shows low iron and your stomach tolerates it, a standard ferrous sulfate tablet gives the same iron for much less (sulfate vs bisglycinate).
