Questions people ask

What is the best protein powder in Canada?

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey. It costs CA$2.03 per 25 g of protein on Amazon.ca, and Informed Choice lists its product line.

Does a Health Canada NPN mean a protein powder is tested?

No. A Natural Product Number is Health Canada’s licence to sell the product. It is not outside testing of what is in the tub. Look for a testing program such as Informed Choice, Informed Sport or NSF Certified for Sport.

Not better, just easier. A bottle travels well, but powder costs less per gram of protein. A 10-pack of Premier Protein Shakes is on Amazon.ca at CA$3.60 a bottle for 30 g of protein.
